A New Home

Steve and I are finally situated in our new home in Charlotte. We are very happy in our new neighborhood. The neighbors have been constantly bringing us brownies and cookies and sweet tea and even making us dinner! Talk about southern hospitality! We were so happy to have Denise, Catherine, Andrew, and Niki as our firsts guests and helpers in our huge move-in process. Denise and Cate unpacked, washed, and put away everything in our kitchen and helped us make many important furniture placement decisions. Andrew got stuck hooking up the sound system, helping Steve construct, put up, and paint his pull-up bar, hanging pictures, and being our resident handy man. Niki and I planted some flowers, made some good meals, and tried to keep the guys in line. All in all we had a great time and we are so thankful for everyone's hard work!
Steve is commuting to work in Columbia, South Carolina through October when his recruiting office will open in Charlotte. So for the next few months he will have an hour and twenty minute commute, but he is making the best of it.

I love your new home!!! I am also jeleous you'll be able to paint the baby's room any color you want. We are glad ya'll made it safe traveling cross country. Jess, you look great!!! I'm starting to see a tiny baby bumb but that's 'cause you're so skinny. Let us know how you are feeling over the next few months and don't forget to show us gals here in the high desert your ever growing belly.

Missing you so much, Tina, Ryan and Olivia

a) Is that house big enough?
b) Is that grill big enough?
c) Where did you come up with the idea for this blog? (don't try to blame it on Jess, I know it was all your idea, especially the title)

Looking good buddy, Jess and the dog look happy as well. I will have to make a trip out there now that I see you have 1 (or 7) guest rooms. Take care.
